Please do not send real statements. If a statement does not read, choose Make a safe copy for support in Dropwell. Every digit and name in the copy is replaced, so it can be sent safely.
Lost your license key
Go to Manage subscription and enter the email you used at checkout. We email a one-time link to that address with your key and your plan. There is no account and no password.
Move Dropwell to a new Mac
- On the old Mac, open Dropwell and choose Settings > License > Deactivate this Mac. This frees its seat.
- On the new Mac, download Dropwell, open Settings > License and enter your key.
Each license can be active on 3 Macs at a time. If the old Mac is lost, sold or broken, write to support@getdropwell.com from your checkout email and we free its seat.
Manage your subscription
To cancel a Yearly renewal, change your payment card or see your receipts, go to Manage subscription and enter the email you used at checkout. We email you a one-time link. If you cancel, Dropwell keeps working on the last version your year covered.

Common questions
A statement does not balance. What now?
Dropwell shows the rows that do not follow in orange. Compare them with the PDF: a scan can misread a digit. If you are sure, Export anyway saves the rows with an Unverified mark on every row and in the file names. If it keeps happening, send us a safe copy for support.
Which banks are supported?
Dropwell reads the layout of the statement rather than a list of banks. US and Canadian statements have been tested, in English and French. Every statement is checked to the cent, so you see a statement that reads wrong before anything is exported.
Does Dropwell work offline?
Yes. Every tool works with no internet connection. Only activating or deactivating a license and checking for updates need one.
Where are my files saved?
Beside the original, with a word added to the name, such as "September (statement).csv". The original is never changed, and Undo in Recent puts things back.
Dropwell is not in the Finder menu.
Open System Settings, find Extensions, and turn on Dropwell for Finder. Then right-click a file and choose Dropwell.
Is there a Windows or iPhone version?
No. Dropwell is a Mac app for macOS 13.4 or later.
How do I uninstall Dropwell?
First choose Settings > License > Deactivate this Mac to free the seat. Then drag Dropwell from Applications to the Trash.
