Terms of sale

These terms apply when you buy a Dropwell license on getdropwell.com. Your use of the app itself is covered by the license agreement. By completing a purchase you agree to both.
1. Who sells Dropwell
Dropwell is sold by ELEGANT TECH LLC, a New York limited liability company, 8272 168th St, Jamaica, NY 11432, United States (support@getdropwell.com). Payments are processed by Stripe on our behalf.
2. What you buy
You buy a license to use Dropwell, not the software itself. Each license may be active on up to 3 Macs at a time. There are 2 plans:

Prices are in US dollars. There is no monthly plan. With Yearly, if you stop renewing, the last version released during your paid time keeps working; it does not stop or lock.
3. Founding discounts
The first 60 paid customers receive a founding discount, in 3 tiers counted by our server in the order payments are completed: customers 1 to 20 receive 30% off ($41 Yearly, $104 Lifetime), customers 21 to 40 receive 20% off ($47 Yearly, $119 Lifetime), and customers 41 to 60 receive 10% off ($53 Yearly, $134 Lifetime). After that, full prices apply.
On Yearly the founding discount applies to the first year only; renewals are charged at the renewal price, currently $59 a year. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay. Discounts are not applied to earlier purchases, and they cannot be exchanged for cash.
4. Taxes
Sales tax, VAT or similar taxes, where they apply, are calculated at checkout from the address you give, and are shown before you pay.
5. Payment and delivery
You pay through Stripe's checkout page. Once the payment succeeds, we email your license key to the address you used at checkout, usually within minutes. That email address is your identity with us: there is no account and no password. If the key does not arrive, check your junk folder, then write to us.
6. Yearly auto-renewal
- A Yearly license renews automatically each year on the date you bought it, and the renewal price is charged to the payment method you used, unless you cancel before that date.
- We email you 7 days before each renewal with the date and the amount.
- You can cancel at any time through the link we email you, or by entering your checkout email on the Manage subscription page. Cancelling stops future renewals. You keep the versions your paid time covered.
- If we change the renewal price, we will email you at least 30 days before the renewal it affects, and you can cancel before it applies.
- If a renewal payment fails, Stripe may try again for a short time. If it still fails, the license does not renew, and the versions you already have keep working.
7. Free trial
The free trial includes every tool with 3 free jobs. A job is anything that saves a file, such as an export. Reading bank statements, the table preview and the balance check are free and do not count. No payment details are needed for the trial.
8. Refunds
Every payment has a 30-day money-back guarantee, explained in the refund policy. When a purchase is refunded, its license key is revoked.
9. Moving and freeing Macs
You can deactivate a Mac in Dropwell's Settings at any time and use the seat on another Mac. If a Mac is lost or broken, write to us and we free its seat.
10. Our responsibility
Dropwell is provided as described in the license agreement, which includes our warranty disclaimer and the limits of our liability. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law of your country that cannot be limited by contract.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force when you pay applies to that payment. For Yearly, changes that affect your renewal will be emailed to you before the renewal.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Courts in New York have jurisdiction, except where the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
